Re: AA Rankings for 12/4/22
And Andover loses to Rogers. Was Andover put on too high of a pedestal this season just because they won it (some might say unexpectedly) last year? From what I’ve seen. Andover is ranked properly. Losing to Rogers 3-1 with an EN goal without their top 2 centers and playing right along with them wi...

Re: AA Rankings for 12/4/22
Rogers was #2 and has now beaten LVS and Andover so maybe a little high but losing to Rogers isn't a huge upset

Bemidji came out flying and their goalie played well. Roseau gave up too many odd man rushes and had a tough night. With that said, the officials had a tough night too. Penalties had to be around 8-2 and they did not seem to know when to blow plays dead when penalties were called. Then net was off ...

STMA did deserve the 3-seed, yes. But the Buffalo and Rogers? They play junk schedules, and their only section wins are over each other (both in OT). Roseau split with Brainerd, who beat up on Buffalo early in the season, and also tied STMA. Shouldn't this guy be happy that the mighty metro teams g...

Snyper, interesting response. Seems from your previous posts you have a part in this ranking system. You would think you might want to watch Hermantown play before passing such comments. I also think that your boys in the cities might be a little upset with you for the lack respect you have for the...

Re: Hockey Camp vs AAA summer team
Pinky - don't you think stinkhandling a ball or puck in the garage develops hand to eye coordination MUCH more than take a couple of swings at a baseball??? And as far as your second comment, that's a cop-out and you know it....unless you think ALL kids are the same, and ALL kids MUST be playing ad...

So far the best associations are Kennedy, Luvurne, and Hutchinson. The average association has about 42 kids that make about 3 teams. The 3 best association average 23 kids on 2 teams. In the best associations, why are kids staying away in droves? Perhaps the other way around ... only the more dedi...

Re: Goaltending Camp!
Long time reader, first time poster! I was in Rosemount last week at the Pond...There was a goalie camp going on the ice called MVP goaltending...I have never heard of it, but was very impressed how the camp was being operated...great drills, organization was great and coach to player ratio was 2-1...

in short - let the kids dream, parents allow them to dream and support their dreams balancing with a pragmatic view but DO NOT stop stop the KIDS from dreaming. Ask anyone who has made it if kids should stop dreaming and if parents should stop them from dreaming and supporting the KIDS ( not the par...

Who really cares about kids coming in from the outside? First we hear the complaints that AAA hockey is watered down, then we hear it is not fair that ringers are brought in. Summer hockey has jungle rules when it comes to participation, so just deal with it. BTW-I don't have my kids playing AAA. I...

But it won't if people can find an advantage they will use it. Right or wrong. its a fact. unless you have somebody to police it and make rules Isn't that sad? People KNOW it's wrong, but will do it anyway because there is no governing body to police it. Let me ask you a question...do you play golf...

No enough with the Jr.Badgers, any team with the name Badgers should not be mentioned on this forum. And any Minnesota parent showcasing their kid around to play in an open tournament for kicks should be deported to Milwaukee. Oh, FYI those are not some of the best players in Minnesota  I bel...
