Re: Who's not on the preseason radar that should be
At least Monticello may not have to play Moorhead in the first round of Sections. Of course they have to beat Becker / Big Lake to avoid that fate...

Re: State
Moorhead will have to play the winner of the Monticello vs. Becker / Big Lake series in the opening round of sections this year. Three times a charm baby... Upset of the decade (or is it bigger than that? probably not...)

Lets just hope they seat the Holy Angels fans in the Section 206 corner...

Didn't Rank seperate his shoulder a last summer playing on one of those Europe tour teams? Given his "golden" pitching arm risking injury would certainly make some kids think twice. I however agree that multi-sport participation is for the best

Didn't Buffalo join the Classic Lake this year? I believe they are only playing a single game schedule in the Mississippi 8 (4 conference points per game) so they can do a home and home with the Classic Lake teams.

Why not move Orono and Mound in the Classic Lake?

Re: Bad news for Totino-Grace & Tri-City
If you take a close look at the annual operating costs of an arena you will see that most of them cover those costs from the various revenue sources of ice rental, concession stand sales, and advertising sales. Where an arena loses money is in paying off the bonds or major financing for either intia...

Bantams vs. High School
My son made his Varsity HS team as a Freshman and would have received significant playing time, but opted to play Bantams with his friends. Looking back on the decision as a college age player he is convinced that was one of the best choices he ever made. Spending that season with his friends streng...

Will be interesting to see of Zach Johnson stays at STMA or moves to a private program (I've heard that a group of the '90 Lightning kids are enrolling at Providence Academy). This team will have good defense again (hence their goalie being ranked #12 in the metro - not much of a goalie, but you don...
