I can dig it.
Again, thanks HS for posting these rankings and analysis. Interesting to see STA and Breck still up top. Good to see a person rank a team not based solely on a team's record.

Re: Varsity ice time versus JV ice time
I was wondering if this is normal for our high school hockey team to have 2 hours and 45 minutes set aside for each practice with JV getting 45 minutes and varsity getting 2 hours. JV and varsity are not intermixed either at all. I don't see skills being improved much on the JV team. Just wondering...

West Coast!
They should have got Mike Leach, former Texas Tech coach. He would've brought the west coast offense to the big ten (Jim Tressel would've been pulling his hair out!) Plus Leach locks his players in closets with no lights if they get a concussion.

Re: Gophers
They have to make a move. That program is a laughing stock in College hockey right now and 3 years of underachieving SHOULD NOT cut it. It would not in any private sector that is for certain. You can no longer win with 18 year olds in your line up. The Junior kids coming in are strong and can play ...

Re: Hungry? Why wait...
Sad to see. Not sure why he would do this.... Excellent hockey player and his "stock" is high. Watching the world juniors and gopher games (huge difference) you would see his potential. He would stay if the Gophers had a bright future next year, but the clouds are out. I don't blame him f...

It looks like to me that at the 0:11 second mark, the that same hit was put onto a certain ND player who shall go nameless who had a certain end to his certain season by a certain player! NO penalty there but I would think that Malone should maybe be harrassed and threatened with life too! Not a wh...

Sour grapes
It really saddens me that Frats was suspended. He'll be out for a game, that topic is over and done. I find it funny that most Gopher fans are screaming bloody murder for this hit, and Sioux fans are saying it was clean. (I know for a fact sides would switch if it were Wehrs hitting Frats  ) I ...

Too much ice time
I heard from multiple sources that Gardiner was playing with mono. IMO, I thought he played pretty well in the championship game. It looked like Minnetonka was just rolling two lines in the 3rd period, and Gardiner had some good scoring chances. Anyways, Edina played a solid game. They forechecked,...

My heart says go BEARS, but my brain is telling me this won't be close. I'll say 5-1 stars with the outside chance this might be running time if Schletty doesn't play as well as he did last night. Oh, and one more thing. The over/under on # of dumb penalties by #17 is two. :P This is too easy. :win...

My neighbors to the East get my emotional support... However, STA wins 3-1. Goldfishdude Jinx continues!!!!! Way to go Mahtomedi!!!! We'll have to keep an eye on your post! 8) I thought STA would come back to beat one of their conference rivals, but the Zephs once again had their number! Congrats a...
