It's not over yet but looks like Everson might be the front runner with 7 goals in the 2 games already.

Re: re
I think this one will come down to the last couple minutes. Ep doesn't have any superstars but there first line is very explosive. Duda's a very very good player. There big assistant captain has a bomb of a slap shot and the other 2 crash the net. EP has really come together as a team lately. There ...

Re: who cares
It's all about who works hard in the off season and improves. The program I play in the bantam tryout was VERY close. There were a few players that made B that would be playing A hockey at most programs in the state. Also, just because you make bantam A's doesn't guarantee you a spot on varsity. A l...

Re: state
That's a good point griz and its very true. It's a shame that the regions ended up the way they were. I'm sure WBL, Orono, Jefferson, and Osseo players are bummed because their teams were arguably good enough to go to state and probably would have made it out of another bracket. That's done now thou...

Re: jefferson
Yeah Jefferson's done. Osseo came out very physical. Several very big and cheap hits that Osseo got away with took Jefferson off there game. It was a very even game. Jefferson would have a good forecheck then Osseo would have one. Frakes played really well. Shots were 34-19 Jefferson. Great game Oss...

mnlight,
I think your summary was very right. It was a really great hockey game. Keep your head up. You guys have a very good shot at going through the back door. I'd love to see you guys go all the way through. You made some really great saves tonight. It shows real character not making up excus...

Re: champlin park vs. Eden Praire? (bantam A)
Both of these teams are hot. Should be close but I think EP is deeper. They should come out with the W 4-2.

Re: does hopkins have a chance at state?
Hopkins deffinetly does have a chance at state because A.) they have fink and B.) theyre in the easier region. Wolvehockey- You played Orono when they were slumping, don't be proud of a lucky victory. I'd love to watch them play you this time of year. And you say your back up goalie let in 3 against...

NSP's goalie was amazing!!! It was 2-0 Jefferson after the second period and the shots were 43-3 Jefferson. At the end of the game the shots were about 58 to 8 or 9. He stood on his head.

Re: EP
tamahawk, i wouldn't consider any team that gets a lot of penalties in D6 cheap. I think we've established that the refs are horrible and can win or lose games for teams. Also it's the style of penalties ep gets that makes them cheap such as, punching after the whistle, checking from behind. I saw a...

ep jefferson
I felt like in this game we weren't given the chance to win by the refs. I looked at the stat sheet the penalties were i believe 13 on jefferson and 6 on ep. 3 of ep's 6 were coincidental and the other were while they were on the powerplay so then it was four on four. It was 2-1 with about 8 minutes...
