yeah i rip on jefferson a bit... but any goalie as highly regarded going into the tournement as austin lee was, and who just didnt live up to it, i'd probably say the same thing... and no worries i dont claim to be REALLY knowledgable about hockey <p></p><i></i>

lol i played goalie a few times back in the day... and yes i realize it is about 90-95% mental... all of them have the physical ability more or less, its the mental aspect that makes them great <p></p><i></i>

k lets see laura... you told me this one was logical... sure keaton choked against centennial... but that was the only time... so it was a fluke... austin "choked"/didnt live up to hype.. MULTIPLE times... this has nothing to do with keaton<br><br>ps. laura so what if jefferson didnt lose ...

moorheads goalies might have choked under any defination of the word... i mean 6 goals on 18 shots in the championship... thats a major choke i think <p></p><i></i>

tough teams all year... not quite... jefferson blew out alot of their opponents, lee had a pretty good team playin in front of him. and i dont know how many times i can say this... but he could not get it done against the REAL tough teams... and thats really all that matters for the most part <p></p...

my response to that is: i think austin was the most overrated goalie inthe tournement possibly... i know that is kind of controversial, but think about it... he was thought of as one of the 3 best goalies in MN... but he just could not get it done against tough teams <p></p><i></i>

and not to dwell on the topic too much, but to my knowledge austin lee didnt win very many TOUGH games, i know jefferson lost to wb 5-2 and moorhead 3-1... those are the kind of games that make a player, and then of course in state, 3 goals against vs aha, 4 against vs ER and 5 against vs WB. <br><b...

we all know i have very little love for jefferson, sorry<br><br>here let me try and sound a lil less like a 5 year old: the key to being a good goalie, or a GREAT athlete in any sport for that matter, is being able to step up to the challenge when it matters most. aka the state tournement... clutch ...
