falcon 89 - I agree that Mayo has some good young talent, mostly sophomores, but I don't think they are anywhere near the caliber of player that Psimos, Harwood, and Erickson were. They also lost 2 solid defenseman in Anderson and Miller. Those girls were for real and made a big impact on the big 9....

did mayo have a full team? glad to hear they did well. they will miss their seniors, a lot of talent graduated. hopefully the others will step in and take up where they left off. i think there is a fair amount of talent still there, may need to refocus a few players and remind them this is a team sp...

Congratulations to the Stars and Ponies for such an exciting championship game. But why were the EP girls interviewed and congratulated for showing support to the other schools, that's what athletes with character do, you support the sport in spite of how you're school finished. EP lost, didn't go t...

Congratulations to Austin for making it to the State Tournament. Not a bad showing, but the outcome could have been different had #15 not been such a selfish player. SHe needs to remember there is no I in TEAM. Congratulations to #12 for breaking the state tournament assist record. That's what team ...

Faribault and Austin have both shown little class when it comes to playing weaker teams. Just take a look at the MSHL stats and see what games the hotdogs have scored most of their goals. They aren't many pucks going in the net against the top teams. Who's a better player: someone who can score a go...

Falcon 89...i have to disagree with you that the top line of Mayo contribute equally. While I agree that all three of them are very talented players, they do not play that well as a line. Two of them are doing more of the work in the corners, back checking, etc. while one of them tends to position h...
