If you are asking about DM vs DC it was 9-1. And that was a 4 vs 5 seed .backrinkrat wrote:Marshall final?

You are right, 2-6. The loss before and after were each by a goal. Does a Marshall win against Virginia give them the #1 seed because of Hibbing's loss? Most of the comments on the 7A thread think Marshall won't get any benefit from the Range teams for seeding. Some of them won't even play Marshall...

So does Paul eat like a dozen donuts and three large pizzas before every game? The kid falls over and it takes him ages to get up but somehow he manages to make the big saves. He's had to overcome some physical battles, so its good to see him on the ice at all. Same with the Stauber kid. Good to ha...

Re: Bluejackets
Got to give Hibbing some major props in this one. Statement game for 7A for sure. Sounds like DM needs to get back to the drawing board. I would guess that Hibbing is a bit more Senior lead team thus the man handling of the Hilltoppers. Impressive win for Hibbing. DM will need to close the gap by i...

Re: RE:
I don't see this. Probably more up in the air than most years and nobody is standing aside to let Hibbing just take it.jacket08 wrote:I just cant see Hibbing not winning this section this year, due to lack of competition

This years DM team was hard working and needed to scratch and claw their way to the final game. Personally, I give them a lot of credit. They showed character. I think the coaching staff got the most out of the team. Next year appears to be a drop in depth for forwards and defense. Recruiting is a r...

There is a rumor that Brendan Flaherty is leaving Marshall to run the new Heritage Center. Rumor = yes and thats all. Here is a comment from the Duluth Budgeteer: Budgeteer: How much can you take as a coach? I mean, I’m sure it has to weigh on you a little bit to lose those games — how long do you ...

You'd have to ask the person in charge of recruiting and advertising. They probably have 200 or so people applying to the school for next year who still have to take tests and what not, of which hockey has nothing to do. you want to make a bet about that???? heard kids still get in that don't pass ...

Why should Marshall play AA, yeah they are from a city of 100,000. But they arent the only high school. East, Denfeld, Central, Harbor City, Lakeview Christian Academy, and other nearby schools like Proctor. And Marshall has roughly 300 students. thats about 150 boys and only about 32 of them play ...

Please continue to give West no chance in hell. It's worked all season, It'll work again. This will be the best game of the first two Class A sessions. THEY BEAT ST. THOMAS 8-2 HOW DIDN'T THEY GET SEEDED ABOVE ST. THOMAS? Marshall got exactly what they deserved, they are not nearly as good as in the past, and will not beat St. Thomas again. What I saw at the game against Hibbing was a lucky team led by a kid who never played traveling hockey. Thei...

Will people please stop holding ANY team responsible for playing the few real easy teams that they have to play because of their conference schedule. All teams have it, they have no choice, it shouldn't be part of any argument. ColdasIce has followed all the DM threads this year and bashed them at ...
