I say put Alex in a tougher section and see if they wind up at State every year still... Oh, and Alex must be something about stats because for over 90% of the season they play an easy schedule and end up scoring in the double digits. 8 games where 8+ goals are scored... Yeah, definatly don't go for...

Alex likes to use the ice as an excuse for any close game.

I'd have to agree with you... Bemidji was extremely cheap. It looked as though they were out for blood with Kaasa. I think I counted well over five times where they came up after the whistle and hit her. Refs sure didn't do a thing about it. haha

Tech wouldn't quit... And they almost tied it up with less than 10 seconds left, but the post got in the way. Hard not to give Tech respect.

4-1 Edina. Wasn't so easy for Edina the first two periods to get the puck in the net. Any thoughts?

Up in Cloquet at the pre-season scrimmagefest, I believe either Edina won 1-0 or they tied 0-0. So, they've seen each other before, but of course that was back in Novemeber. We'll see though.

Goalies of Tomorrow

Could anyone give me any information about this program? I saw a scout at a game last night with that on his jacket, so I was curious about it.

haha... Just wait for the two weeks to come then. I don't think what ice is being skated on will really make up that big of a difference. If you can say that Alex didn't play to their full potential last time, then it can also be said that Tech didn't either. I don't see how the score could have bee...

I will HIGHLY doubt more than one will get by Kaasa. The most she has let in all season is three and those are against quality teams. If you watched how close the last game was between these two teams, the one that did get by Kaasa she didn't even see. These teams were evenly matched. It will not be...

What scores are you looking at? Tech has only dropped four games, and the loss last night shouldn't be one to judge everything upon. Their starting goalie was sick and couldn't make it to the game, and the JV goalie who had only played two varsity games in the past two years had to play. Some of the...

Tech 6 - WBL 3. Tech was down 3-0 with about 6-7 minutes left in the second and started off by banging two in by the end of the second. Scored four more unanswered goals in the third. Dold had five points, and Kaasa finished with 41 saves. Kaasa is having an outstanding year. Don't know what anybody...

Since when were any of the kids insulted because of where they live or what they're budget allows? Saying they should play better teams doesn't exactly scream they aren't any good because they are from Alex or because of a poor budget, now does it? And please, would all three of you just act a littl...

How many tough teams has Alex played though? Not very many, so obviously a goalies stats will look more deciving. Not saying Justice isn't a good goalie, but I think if Alex had a few tougher games scheduled, the stats might be a lil' different. Alex has only had two close games, one where Justice w...

I think the Tech vs. Wayzata game will be a decent match up... Kaasa has been solid in net. In the past four games she has had three shut outs, went unscored upon for about 9 1/2 periods. The tournament is bracketing as well... It doesn't look to be too bad of a tournament with Moorhead, Tech, Wayza...

Should be a tight game tomorrow night... Great goalie match up with Justice vs. Kaasa. Any thoughts?

There are way too many calls being made... The girls can't even play two minutes anymore without a penalty being called. This is turning into girl's lacrosse, where you can't make any contact at all. :x

Was up at Cloquet this weekend... Great level of play, every team looked good. I was particularly impressed with how Tech's defense and goaltending looked. Defense really played the body well, even with a few lapses. Kaasa looked flawless with the exception of maybe one goal. Tech should be a great ...
