yes it was a loss but Austin has never seen AL play their best. Austin had a few tricks up their sleeve due to better coaching but I dont know what else they can come up with. AL will learn and move on. They did it earlier this season and they will do it again. The best hockey has yet to come.

To nswer your question rocket yes girls played other sports while in showcase. the games for showcase were mainly on Sunday so it worked well most of the time. As for the younger teams, i do not know much more about the number of girls that go out.

albert lea offseason

If you were wondering what Albert Lea has been doing in the offseason here you go. In the spring they had a showcase team and every single player on the team was there except one. They had a 2 week camp in Albert Lea with Austin very recently. A little over half the team was there. From the spring u...

Albert Lea ran 3 lines consistently (even the line that had 3 girls under 5 feet tall, by the way they only got scored on twice, pretty good for 6th graders huh).. just ask coach Bray because he was running the line changes. By the way Falcons89 i barely saw any of your best forwards playing defense.

AM NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT LIKE THE REST OF MY FELLOW TIGERS. ALBERT LEA IS CLEARLY THE REP FROM SECTION 1 A. I HAVE SEEN THEM PLAY THE COMPETITION, AND THEY WILL BEAT AND DESTROY EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY FARIBAULT. WE HAVE NEVER LOST TO FARIBAULT THIS LAST YEAR AND WILL NOT LOSE TO THEM THIS YEAR. WE HAV...

RSI... Albert Lea had 5 defense i believe, and three lines of forwards. Plus their goalie. Everybody was there from the girls team except 2 i believe. Albert Lea's team is all Albert Lea people except one from Mason City who wanted to play some more hockey. I think she plays for boys. She is a decen...

AL played Eastview i believe... half the time they had to play against an Edina boys goalie, then Eastview got a goalie to come out for the game. Eastview had many good players, but they didnt really play like a team.

people need to quit complaining about the all the good Metro teams not getting a shot. It is the same in most every section, there are a few good teams, and they battle it out to get a shot at state. Whether the teams in those sections are better or worse than the metro teams it shouldn't matter. Ev...

bad game for AL but hopefully they were just getting it out of their system and will get back on track soon. The team played alright in the 1st period but after that they looked sluggish and got knocked around by a few blatant body checks. The shots were about 26-25. With AL having 26. The Owatonna ...

You can't accidently score 6 goals, but I guess I'm not going to argue that point. Many teams all over the state are racking up the goals on weak teams and they have to remember that when these teams vote for the seedings in the section tournament they are going to remember this team just throttled ...

al vs far

AL vs Faribault could decide the final section seedings. Faribault playing 2 games in the past 3 days or AL not playing for nearly a week, i'm not sure what is worse. Should be very exciting. I dont believe the 2-2 tie last time was a fluke, plus albert lea was the team who got a goal called off. It...
