Indeed - favored tactic by the goalie in question for Blue, I am unaware of a delay of game ever being called on the kid - it's a controllable situation that is unfortunately left uncontrolled by the stripes - why wouldn't you kick the net out every time there's an imminent threat if your "puni...

Quack - that's very helpful. Thank you for the explaination. I was clearly clueless on the matter and I am now informed. Having never witnessed it before in 20 years of watching hockey, it was a new experience. It would appear based on the rules you shared that the intent to injure clause was evoked...

Quacker - thanks for the terminology correction. Greatly appreciated. The penalty assessed was slashing - no penalty was called at the time of the incident - delayed or otherwise. Play continued on without any indication for nearly sixty seconds. At the next stoppage of play, the LINESMEN conference...

Blueblood - I think there's no chance of Red helping Black out. Those two teams are way too competitive and braggin' rights in town are a big deal.

I watched a D6 game last night - and some of the calls both ways were outlandish. None worse than a "revisit" call by a ref. Nearly 60 seconds after the player left the ice with no call made at the time, the 3 refs conferenced up at a stoppage of play. The Head ref than visited the teams b...

I share the same quandary, Les. There's two potential minuses - first, it clearly has reduced the impact of HEP points. Not that the current obscenely rigid calls by D6 refs hasn't done that by itself. But there is clearly reduced importance and urgency on playing a stellar regular reason. Last year...

wow - nice win Tonka - I was wrong on the outcome on that one for sure! Burnsville and Tonka both very very solid squads - D6 will be interesting to wwatch over the next two weeks - every game counts big time from here on in to the playoffs!

Chaska fan - some fair feedback - a ban of your players would have been a good idea (it's my sense that other coaches and/or parents have done this) it's a little late now, but as I has been pointed out already the greatest firestorm was invited by letsrep19. Now THAT would have been a series of pos...

I agree with tA - I think a nice bit of credit to Chaska doled out by all forum participants when it is has been deserved. Unfortunately, as you point out, there was a bad apple in the barrel for a while and it did spoil the whole bunch for a short while. This is a good forum for him to NOT be in, s...

sorry - that was sarcasm - they have beat up on each other for 3/4's of the season - and end up beating themselves and/or getting plastered by their opponents in games.

those are all great rivalries - and great to watch and follow over the years. One of the most entertaining to watch this year is Chaska BB1 vs. Chaska BB1

#19 appears to be fast because he starts every transition from "d" to "o" at the red line. That's not fast, that's just a head start. With one hand on the stick almost all the time, fairly easy to knock the puck off him. For that matter, fairly easy to knock him off the puck too.

oh - he's been shut up alright. You all will be spared, but my guess is the Chaska team and fans will need to deal with a one dimensional cherry picker for what remains of the season. Nice win WBL Orange - sounds like you came out rarin' to go and chose to act instead of talkin' smack!

Burnsville is definitely a class team - coaches included - from what I have seen definitely have the proven ability to take down any team on any given day.

Hey 19 - you are really starting to worry me - one good game in a row is not a trend - too much smack and not enough smackin - it could well be time to be the strong silent type. Stop groovin' on your self and help your team win out.

It's all a matter of perspective 19. All a point of view. You can show yours and your teams has evolved by posting up 3 days straight this weekend in Anoka - it starts Friday night against WBL. Stringing 4 great games in a row would really show something....

hey 19 - focusing once before a game is dandy (and overdue) - making it a habit and doing it every time would really show something. Does your team possess the mind of a champion? The heart of a warrior?

using a slur against people with mental handicaps doesn't show much poise or strength of character - do you possess the mind of a champion? You will need it if you have a desire to win down the stretch
