I disagree. Shaugnessy is good don't get me wrong. But he just doesn't look ready for whats ahead of him. I've watched plenty of the jv games and Sampair seemed to be more relaxed and confident on the ice. He didnt have to make big glove saves or anything because he didn't put himself in the positi...

Hill has some big holes to replace. The biggest one being in goal. I have a feeling it might even be a 3 goalie rotation at first, at least until somebody shines.

The beach balls were fine. Several had private pussies written on them and the stupid juniors didn't get that we should've torn them apart.

The hill fans had fun down below you, you would engage us when Edina was busy with their Marco Polo crap, but you didn't need to throw stuff at us at the end of the game. I got hit on the head with a roll of tape, thrown from the upper deck it gets a bit of speed up, and a few of my friends got hit ...

Hill wasn't afraid to check, but Hill used crisp passing and speed on most of their goals. Lechner had the guys sure they could win and they weren't afraid to take it to Roseau and Edina, and use speed and finesse for nice goals.

Listening to Edina during the BSM game was painful, the two sections weren't in sync and everything wound up being muffled. Marco-polo was ok once but not 3 times every game. Besides "Hornets, Hornets", "We got Rusty", and the weird laughing chant, there was nothing. The Champion...

It was nice to have someone to cheer against, all Edina could say was "Hornets, Hornets" and "We got Rusty", but Sachishi is right. We got the same things Friday that Benilde got when we were sitting with them that we got during the game. We would have liked something new for the...

Picking the privates worked out well this year. I can't say I was happy that Saint Thomas won, they shouldn't be playing A, but I was very pleased to watch Hill take down Roseau and Edina.

BSM were the best fans in the tourney. My friends and I got down with them before the Championship and were having a lot of fun. NAU song, their scoreboard chant, and proving they were better than EDINA and Roseau, both on the ice, even with the loss I think BSM was the better team, and definitely i...

or Hill's scholarship players from around the metro and possibly Wisconsin? Hill has players from around the metro and some from wisconsin, but that's representative of Hill's student body. I know most of the hockey players and I can't think of any players that have any scholarships, none of them n...

Blaine outshot Roseau last night, yes many of them were desperation, but it revealed that Roseau's defense isn't perfect. Roseau scored on their first two shots and never looked back. Phillipi should be able to keep Roseau out of the net early, and not be as out of position as Blaine's goalie was la...

Sure it would have. Game I was watching last night 6 of the 8 goals I don't think it really would have mattered who was in net. Of course the reason why Hill snuck one out on Moorhead and didn't surgically dismantle them like Roseau was the team Hill played was so MUCH better. Just like their sched...

hockeydude42 wrote:Hill only beating Lakeville South 3-0 just shows how bad they are. Roseau wins 4-1.
Lakeville's goalie gave up three goals and was one of the stars of the game. If Hill had 31 shots on the goalies that were playing for Blaine it would've been more like 8 or 9 to nothing.

1- Owen Collette Best goalie in the state? He played against Hill-Murray 3 times this season and got beat 3 times, giving up 13 goals along the way, with a good defense in front of him. The best goalie in the state would have been able to pull out one of these games, and not lost to park. Owen is g...

I was surprised that BSM had a better goalie than Ankeny. I only saw him play against Hill and he played very well. I still want to see Hill go through LS, Roseau, and BSM to prove that Flip is the best goalie.
