Re: Cloquet Lumberjacks

I am happy for the kids who came up through the youth ranks, and for the guys like David Brown who made the decision to leave his home state and play his High School Hockey in Minnesota with one goal in mind, to play in the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. On the mshsl site it has Proctor's opponent as St.Francis for both days, so they're probably in it. Ashland and Park Rapids have been it it the past couple of years too. My guess is that it will stay that way.

I heard through the wonderful grapevine that it is definately Schnobrich, they just had to wait for a school board meeting to officially announce it. (Didn't hear if this meeting had taken place already or not) I also saw that the Rails won the section 2a academic award in the proctor journal. At le...

Well, I guess that no one knows much about this team. I'll have to keep an eye on these guys to see if they're as bad as everyone says next year.

 Just imagine if they put all of Duluth (minus Marshall) in to one school. That team would be very close to the top every year. Plus, some of the kids that might not get to play would move to other schools like Hermantown, Proctor, Marshall, or Cloquet and make those teams better. It wo...
