predators are done : so this is a instrument being played by Bob Capra and Showcase to field another level. Some of the ages are already picked, such as a ICEMEN team taking a year, and Predator as well
Obviously showcase knows their teams talent as they have been invited to the invite showcase trnys

My vote is for Roseau, second would be White Bear Lake, and third is Apple Valley. AV did free hockey for all 1st year mites and eliminated registration fees for any first year player at the travelling level. I was told they had 23 1st year squirts last year. That is a low number in any district yet...

lakeville south
i believe Lakeville South should be able to play an independent schedule and Lakeville North play in the current 8/4 district. South should make the break for District 6, as I have heard the powers that "decide" are leaning to allow them in solo. This will be a compromise that District 8 c...

Elliot What does D16 do with a player with a June birthday that is currently NOT playing with their grade, but would like too? How can we help them to be able to stay and to play with kids in their grade? currently back, and not end up possibly quitting hockey, or having nowhere to play among their ...

The ultimate goal of MN Hockey is to keep class grades together as teams to mirror High School. If the cutoff date were moved to match the school cutoff date - 9/1 - that would leave the majority of July/Aug birthdays ineligible for Bantams as 9th graders. In response to above. I believe most associ...

sept age date
Why doesn't Mn Hockey follow a grade level? It seems it is set to keep w/ the final product not what is in best interest of the whole. Lets say 90% of the players in a given association are not true A players, that leaves us with many many kids that may not be part of this age classification. As sta...

Elliot i think this can be a positive thing. I for one would like to see some guidance from Mn Hockey to the accociations when dealing with many things such as recruitment ( getting the assoc numbers up) sponsorship, mite instruction, and coach recruitment. I also would like to see Mn Hockey conside...

blades/machine
were the refs that much against Bernie?
After the 50 minutes of post game lockerroom (encouragement)
the Machine looked a little sad on their way out with tie and shirt.
Congrats to the Blades, one of the best 96 teams in N America
