Great games at the tourney. I think the top 15 teams in the state were there. Well run and as always Duluth really welcomes the teams. Hats off to the Tigers. Big wins over Edina and Shakopee. Lots of hockey left this year and there are bound to be some quality rematches. Girls high school hockey lo...

take a chill pill pal. I think you are a little to afraid of things that are not that scary. Some Bantam age kids want to play on a team with their school buddies. Why don't you consider where they go to school as being their community based association then you can relax. If they were at the bottom...

Options,OPTIONS when people use their options and send their kids to private schools people are ranting how that has deminished the association and high schools team that they left. If a player plays association hockey for lets say Lakeville South thru Bantams unless he sits out a year, moves or qui...

Holy cow. Bantam B hockey has sure got people stirred up. Observer you say if private schools can have their own Bantam program then public schools should to. Last time I checked public schools already do. Edina youth association feeds Edina high school, White Bear lake youth association feeds White...

It was a Bantam B team and they were a good bantam C team. not a feeder program for the high school but a team that represent the boys school community. Kids playing hockey with their friends like anyother association does.

Why not gripe about why the other A schools can't seem to field quality hockey. STA has.

love2skate The uproar is with the bantam B STA program. Playing distric 1 schedule for the season and then distric 8 playoffs. I agree that that seems odd and unfair. It is also true that a number of Lakeville South bantam A players now attend STA. I do not see an issue with that. Three are playing ...

it's bantam B hockey for crying out loud. Don't get so worked up over it. There won't be any kids on that team playing for the highschool. They created the team so the kids could play with their school mates. Just like all of you people say is what association hockey is all about. Agree completely t...

could it be that D8 did not want them playing a season long schedule because that is where many of STA current team players come from.

keepyourheadup you are bitter that skilled players left and now your son will not get what you presume is a quality hockey team to play on. That may well be the case but quit complaning. Whoever left had that right. Why should you bad mouth them and STA. If there are not enough jerseys than that eff...

send your son to STA or quit complaining. you seem to be spending way to much time worrying about STA and the hockey program there. Maybe by having those lakeville kids leave created an opening for your son at the bantam A level.
