Maybe that shows exactly where some players priorities lie.. It's disappointing Really? These kids play hockey 24/7 365 and you question their priorities for wanting to take a couple days off during their senior year mere weeks after their seasons ended... wow  In all fairness, some time off ...

I look at that list and if the goal is to play D1 hockey, I think that of all the guys who made the dicision to play juniors last year vs. high school made the right decision, with the exception of a couple of players. I’m not sure if some of the Tier 1 AAA guys got closer to that D1 goal. They pro...

the advanced program is becoming ridiculous if Lavalle actually tried out and didn't make it. Kid was a stud in the ELITE league this past fall... should have been on the national team. great character kid too. Every year some (and it is not only one) kids left off the list. Very well thought out and stated. Hit the nail on the head. The problem is that most will bounce around for a couple of years playing juniors until they age out and have no other choice but to go to D3. Nothing wrong with D3 Hockey. Think about it. Play for the love of the game, go to school and get...

My comment was sarcasm....I agree with him staying in school and playing with his buddies. I'm sure it was a dream of his at 5 yrs old (as it is today) to win a state championship. Herb Brooks fondest memory was what Kyle Rau wants to accomplish. Good for him. I applaud his parents.

Oops, saw that wrong, but the rest still holds. I don't think he leaves HS. EP has a great shot at the state title and Rau has a great shot at Mr. Hockey. It will definitely be a different style of Woodbury from what we have seen in the past. There won't be a David Eddy, Tony Pittman, or a Max Gaede this year to bury the puck. They'll have to rely on solid goaltending and taking care of the D zone first. I don't want to count them out just yet, as th...
