Topic: TRF vs EGF CHAMPIONSHIP!!

EGF has to play physical and try slow down the prowlers. They will also have to look to their scorers to step up and bury the puck. Could be a battle of goaltenders, but if shots are flying i say egf wins 5-3... empty netter.

Re: Gage Ausmus

[quote="TTpuckster"]Sure wish he were still with the Green Wave, but, I wish him well

The greenwave lack a solid blueline ... ausmus would have definately improved the team as a whole

It's pretty clear that these are the top three teams in the section. A little puck luck in warroad's favor and they would have beat two of the top ten teams in the state, but the puck bounced in favor of east side and thief so this leaves us debating between the two. Yes thief beat bemidji, and EGF ...

Just another opinion.... Chirps show a disrespect of the greatest game on earth and your opponent. If you love the game and what it stands for, you don't need to act like an idiot. If you're good, put the puck in the net, if you're not, you best shut your mouth or you're probably going to get your ...

With egf returning their top three scorers (Mack, Tom. Hijchek, lawdermilt,) and let's not forget lawdermilt had 26 points in just 12 games due to injury, and losing only one or two other players from their offense they should be a team that can bury the puck. Lawdermilt can shoot like no other, any...

If your a betting man warroad is the obvious choice, but your betting strictly on tradition. If you do a little research though egf has to be the team to beat. Egf was a very solid team last year and word is there cutting kids from last years team to make room for the young talent. Couple young guns...

ya ... I just don't see anyone in the section beating any of the big three of section 8 this year, it's warroad, egf, and thiefs section. The rest of the teams just kinda shake things up here and there, but they're never a real threat

Warroad has so very solid players in stoskoph?? And carson grey but I just don't see any depth on the team. But they breed them different up there and they no matter what find ways to win Eastside has to be my favorite though. They lost one defensemen and they will have an extremely solid D core thi...

it all depends on which teams show up ..... a goal hungry, greedy eastside team or a strong defensive team who only gives up shots from outside a lazy trf team that doesn't feel like taking hits to make plays. or a trf team that moves the puck as good as any team in the state especially on there pow...

Section 8's always a battle usually ending up with warroad on top, but they should just ask the other team if the wanna just play pipes, because there better off that way than expecting there goalie to stop 10 shots... so unless the other teams agree i don't see them makin hotel reservations anywher...

Well the way I see it is that eah of the big teams have at least one stand out that isn't new to leading there teams:

TRF-lucas dillon, Zane Gothberg
Park- McMorrow
Bemidji-Jesse Nemgar
EGF-Jake Useldinger
Warroad-Piper
