The glaring hole in everyone's argument-- People are comparing Ness and Leddy's stats and abilities from two different levels. The WCHA is a little, just a little, more of a challenge than the prestigious MSHSL. Do people here honestly not think Ness would have put up better numbers had he decided ...

When oh when did people become stupid about this topic? For YEARS this was a one class tourney, MANY MANY MANY class A sized schools won this tourney. So why do you all believe that a class A team couldnt possible win it now? When someone comes up with that and can prove that it didnt happen in the ...

Warroad v. Totino Grace 2005 A championship.
This has to be one of the great if not the greatest. 2ot game the sent the unbeaten Warroad time to the state title. It was ended by TJ Oshie laying out and makeing a pass across the front of the net to Aaron Marvin, one of the most amazing passes ever seen!

Ness
Ness is maybe not as big or strong as leddy but Ness is a better all around skater and also alittle better hands. Not to take anything away from Leddy, hes a great player, but Ness has a strong feel for the game and thats the biggest reason he made the jump into the U so nicely this season when he s...

Congrats
Being from Warroad is was sad seeing them lose to Breck today but I must say it was a good game down to the end. Brecks speed and goalie were the difference in the game and I am very proud our boys battled it out to the end. Congrats to Breck on winning and a big Congrats to Warroad we are all proud...

Warroad Roseau
Hands down this is the top of the pile. Stories about these two towns have been done all over the USA. Its been in the New York Times, S.I. that right there shows just how big the battles between Warroad and Roseau are. I will agree being in different classes has drawn it down some but when the puck...

Get over it
How fast we all forget for many years there was only one class and many "small class A" schools won state titles. Would it happen every season of course not but it would happen so for anyone to say class AA would be the only champ year after year its crazy. ANYONE who is narrow minded enou...

Warroad
I love Warroad chances, they played a tough SCC team today and showed how good they can be. If Warroad gets solid play in the nets they are going to win this one. Warroad 4-3

Yeah why argue?
Its been proven before that the AA champ isnt always going to be the best team in this state. Roseau a tiny school by AA numbers has won it twice in the last 12 years. Depth is a factor to a point, however talent come over come depth and There have been plenty of years you could take a A team and th...

Do as the north
Up here Warroad and Roseau both build into the calender days that allow them to close down the school. Each school can close down for a certain amount of days every year, so unless these schools closed due to weather then they are kind of playing a game. Warroad didnt close for our team to go to sta...

Great Game
So far that was the game of the tourney SCC never had a lead in the game but they answered every goal of Warroads until the third then Warroads checking finally slowed them down, that was a great game!

Spuds
If Moorhead plays another game like tonight I like them by 2 or 3. Only question I have is where was this Spuds team during the season?

Great player
No question he is big and strong and a pretty darn great player. I think he is still somewhat unpolished though. He is going to be a very solid kid at the next level if he continues to improve. His puck control is his only weakness but it wasnt a huge deal in the first game.

Moorhead Edina
I have seen Moorhead play afew games this season, some good and some really bad. What Moorhead team is going to show up? The bad team who played TRF and Bemidji or the team who beat Roseau? Seems to me even at Moorheads best its going to be a rough road to knock off Edina, being from the north it wo...

Good move
Congrats on moveing up, just have to wonder why they didnt say down for afew more years. They were a 3 seed in section 8 this year and got handled by TRF in the semis so it makes me wonder why not build your program up better then make the move up?

Very good game
I think this is going to be the best game of the class A tourny. SCC and Warroad have close to equal talent and SCC may have a slight edge in goal, however I got to believe Warroad is going to pull this one out. 4-3 in ot. SCC won 4-2 with an empty netter the first game in St. Cloud, here is were it...

only thing i cant figure out here is how can you be underrated when you have the top seed over all? Seems to me the people who matter when it came to setting up the seeds gave them plenty of respect. I personaly dont think they are the best team down there but they have the chance to prove me wrong ...
