supplemental peewee hockey
Does anyone know of any supplemental full season training for peewees? My son is a first year peewee and would probably be a b1 player in a large association with AA, A and 2 b1 teams. But he is injured and will not be trying out. He will be placed in the c team. Its a new association so they dont k...

USA Hockey ADM Guidelines for tryouts?
I am curious if the ADM publishes guidelines for tryouts for each age group? If the focus is Development over Performance in the younger ages, how do you best segment your teams? Drills? Small Games? Scrimmages?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Playing outside of your association
What is the cutoff date for requesting a waiver to play in a different association? I am curious because my son's association looks like they will probably be cutting a solid 13+ kids. If that happens it would be nice to be able to move him to another association, if possible.

minnesota made squirts vs mite gold talent level
What is the overall talent level of the squirt group compared to the mite gold group?
I would think that many of the top mites would move back to their associations to play traveling. Is that the case?

Re: Wisconsi Fire
No axe to grind, simple truth. The 99 Fire, all but for three token Wisconsin players, are from the MN Made-Machine with a few MN Made Tursbo players. All three coaches are Mn Made- Machine and the manager is a MN Made/ Machine employee. Last year's 98 team was the same way. It is my understanding ...

Re: Minnesota Tier 1 Hockey
I would like to start the conversation with my idea of how this could work. If you take district 2,3,6 and 10 you have covered the Area where most of the players reside. If each district fielded one Tier 1 team we would have 4 teams added to The Wisconsin Fire. This would be a start. I have also th...

Again, I still will not buy it when comparing apples to apples. I know for a fact that Anoka, Wayzata, and Forest Lake could not come close to forming 2-3 tier 1 teams and a bunch of tier 2's with the same numbers as all of Florida. Even if the three flew in a few ringers it wouldn't be enough. If ...

I have tried to keep up with ADM and for the life of me can not understand how mite/squirt/peewee year round tier 1 would fit with it. Per USA Hockey it is not a set of rules but rather guidlines: I agree. I don't see AAA mite / squirt hockey inline with ADM in any way. The AAA programs that are re...

Re: 2001 AAA team schedules
velocity practices during the day, i wish mn made teams would do that. The first part of the AAA season during the spring and the early summer is where it really is an issue. Since the kids are in school daytime practices don't work, weekday evening are a complete crap shoot but most of the schedul...

Re: 2001 AAA team schedules
Does anyone know of a AAA program with a 2001 team that has a schedule that actually allows time for other sports? Re: MM Choice League
One kid in particular only showed up for games -- and nobody said anything. I don't think anyone cared as long as his dues were paid. It was sad. Every Friday night here this kid would come and play in the game. It would be the only time during the week we would see him. My son is evaluating for MM...

How many teams are there? If they run out of room on Gold will they place a kid on Silver even if the kid is in his last year, as long as his skills are inline with the other silver kids?HockeyDad41 wrote:Choice League evaluations are going on now. I bet it is going to fill fast this year.
