For as LONG as it takes...This will include co-oping for girls hockey, wrestling, etc. Getting coop approval from many different groups of people (school board, parents, MSHSL, Lake Conference, etc.) for a couple of AA...

Interesting post. It is real tough to make huge jumps up but can be done. Keeping the same team is not as big a factor as adding difference making talent. They add anyone special? Goaltending?

Also - what about Chanhassen high school?

Ouch. Those are big numbers regardless of talent level. Plus Woodbury will have the new school cutting into the talent.

Right now, EV is only slightly above .500. EP is impressive, but I suspect they will lose a game or two this year.

Lakeville South tied Eastview with 3 seconds left (2-2 final). I believe the Lakeville South goalie (8th grader) had 56 saves on 58 shots.

D6 allows some flexibility for these types of situations - but you have to go through the Director.

Question: For those associations holding U14 try-outs for two teams - how many are waiting until after the high school try-outs before holding U14 try-outs?

At EV you are looking at about 1G for hockey when you include ice payments.

Thanks Roman -- I didn't realize how hopeless things were for EV --even after tying AHA a few months ago. I'll let B'ville and Eagan know that they won't be able to touch the AHA kids in the sections next year. I just wish someone would have told the AV boys last March that the public schools can't ...

Didn't EV tie AH during the regular season last year - with a real young EV team whose top scorers are all coming back? It wasn't like AHA destroyed teams in the section play-offs.

Sounds like the merger was the right call by D8. Let the A, B and C kids play at the right level -- stop the perpetual worrying about the rest of it.

Have to say - if you can tolerate the 80 hour drive to nowhere, there is no question that TRF wins - you know how much $10M buys in hockey rink in the middle of nowhere?
