Unless mandated by the powers that be I dont think you will ever see the traditional powers play many teams that don't play an A youth hockey schedule.

I would think that the most likely person to carry the torch on the direction of youth hockey would be the high school coach. He is the one who has to deal with the end product.

Programs have to decide if their goal is participation or striving for excellence.

Elliott, You might think that Bemidji will be the favorite next year but the group that is returning for Warroad was second in Districts to Roseau as Bantams and went to regionals and was the last class a team playing in the state. They will be returning 4 d who are regulars this year 7 forwards on ...

Hahn has always scored big goals for this group. Every good team needs more than one scorer. It ebbs and flows. One game it is one player and the next another. If you only have one player to put up points it is a short fall from the top. Defense may not be as good as past teams but was very good aga...

Warroad controlled the first and third, let up some in the second. Cathedral had 2 or 3 PP's also, one 5-3 that Warriors killed off. Solid game by Cob, looked sharp all game, Warriors had many 2-1's, just didn't quite finish. Hebel, Hahn, and Pieper for the goals-first for Pieper this year, worth a ...

How did Warroad do in the scrimmages this weekend. I heard they were playing against EGF and Crookston and a couple others in EGF and some AA schools in Moorhead. Anybody got any insight.

Lehrke lovers let it go. Is he deserving to play D1. Absolutely. But what you say on here makes absolutely no difference on whether he will or not. When the time is right he will get there. Did you actually watch any elite games or just going by heresay? He is very good but, hey there is alot of goo...

Roseau did not have any transfers but they did have a foreign exchange student, coaches kid who could have stayed in the program where he started out, and where his mom works, and a boy who moved from Roseville with his family in 8th grade. All perfectly legal and nothing wrong with any of it, but t...

Well, PR boys the debate is over. PR had no chance from the drop of the puck. That was a woodshed beating if I ever saw one. Could have been 10-0 except for the play of the goaltender for PR. Lehrke has nice skills but Marvin, Ravndalen and Hahn are all much more complete players than him. Fastest g...

Mullet, I don't think you can say there is NO WAY that Ravndalen compares to Lehrke. for one, could it be possible that Lehrke didn't look so fast against TRF because their team speed is faster than almost any other team he plays against, which subsequently makes you look faster because competition ...
