The Ice Cats-Micheletti(U 19) received a nice Christmas present today with one goal off a shot from their own blue line and another one from center ice that got in other than that the Shooting Stars dominated play. I think the Ice Cats had less than 10 shots on goal.

Irondale beat Forest Lake and took Breck into overtime. Irondale was up 3-0 at one point in the Breck game. Irondale looked real tired in the 3rd period and overtime. Breck ended up winning 5-4. If Irondale beats Coon Rapids that should put them in the top 10.

That was a great move by Meghan Lorence in overtime. That should of been on Sportscenter.

I say for real! Let's see how the young kids play for Irondale. I think if they play well they can keep it close and possibly pull off a major upset. Let's see what happens.

That's funny that Benilde isn't in the top 10. It has to be a typo. I've seen them play a few times and from what I've seen is that they can play. I didn't see a weakness.

I saw that Irondale beat St. Francis the other night 5-0. I've seen a handfull of Irondale games and it seems like the goalie(Brasuhn) for them is very solid. It must of been an easy night for her.

I could see Irondale making it to the State Tourney soon with this young talent.

I agree with you. Gina Mcdonald(Irondale) is a very good player. She is very young and will only get better. She can put the puck in the net.

She is the 5th leading scorer in the Metro. She can also put the puck in the net plus give up the puck nicely. She is very fast skater. She might be a top player in the state right now.

Another player that is exciting to watch on Irondale is Amy Udvig #21. She plays defense and is very dynamic. She will be playing at the next level with Minnesota State.
