Kind of surprised with Kevin....guess you would think he would make it to state once in his career before being handed such an award like that? Just my thought.

boblee, you must be pretty darn bored to start polls comparing high school kids. I usually enjoy your posts, but these are just dumb this is NOT espn, they are NOT pros, they are young kids who do read this and I think it's alittle bit sad that we need to cut them down I do not have any kids at the ...

this is what we don't want to happen, the Minnesota players leaving to play jrs. early. DOesn't transfer rule apply to privates? Last name is Olson. Yes they apply to private schools. This kid would have had to apply for a transfer before the the new transfer rules were inacted. I believe the Elite League's mission has become diluted. I do not want to give anyone the sense that Russo and company did not have a good plan, because they did and the poster who said they are to be commended is correct. But it has not been able to keep kids in high school hockey as much as we al...

Doesn't really seem likely that Wisconsin would pick him up after switching positions and not being able to follow him...last year he was a sub in the Elite league...seems very odd if it is true. 2AA is definitely the toughest section. I can say that and i'm from the great white north. Tough section, but it's mostly just cake eaters. 7AA & 8AA are both good sections as well, just not as stacked. 8AA is very top heavy with Roseau and Moorhead, but it's pretty poor after that. 7AA is a li...

Re: post 8072

Great little comment by Patrick White. Also, Tyler Johnson-Not a surprise. Size is an issue, and he has broken each side of his collarbone in the last year, hence, injuries are an issue. Reid Ellingson-A bit of a surprise, but a lot of goalies did not get selected. Drew LeBlanc-Surprise. What about...
