Buffalo 7, Tech 6, 2OT-Final Shots on goal were about 45 to 25 in favor of Tech. Was a fun game to watch, you never know what you might see next. Tech outplayed Buffalo the majority of the game, but Buffalo made the most of their opportunities to stay in the game in the second period (scoring direct...

Buffalo tender was as bad tonight as he was good against Roseau...Cambridge Goalie outplayed him by alot.

Wow, that's as surprising a score as Buffalo only losing to Roseau by 3 goals! Cambridge is down this year, Rogers beat them by 6 not too long ago.

BTW...Have seen any Monti lips flapping on the 'bored' this season...not much other than untimely penalties and injury reports. Last season brought a nice crowd to the Moose but this season those fans have not had much to cheer about and have trickled away from the arena...and by the looks of it Mo...

Re: Monti's forfeit

Monticello had a player disqualified in game one of the tournament, so he sat out game 2 and played game 3 against N.Metro. Problem was, he had a DQ earlier in the year already, so High School rules dictate he must sit out FOUR games for the second DQ. He didn't play in Monti's poor effort against ...

Re: Monti's forfeit

Just was looking through some scored for holiday tournaments and a question came up....why did Monticello have to forfeit their game on the 28th against north metro? Anyone out there with any answers? Monticello had a player disqualified in game one of the tournament, so he sat out game 2 and playe...

It's nice that Woodbury is making their first tourney appearance. I've seen Roseau play twice this year & I'll be surprised if they give up a goal from here on out...I'm thinking they win State (again). 8)

Rogers was off their game a bit tonight, but still had enough to beat Champlin Park. Look for Blaine to take them lightly & look for the first big upset in the Boys Section play:
Rogers 4 en, Blaine 2

Never say never...but didn't Duluth East lose the last game they played to a Mississippi 8 Conference team? Two in a row??? What would the odds of that be :?:

Re: Cambridge

Cambridge's goalie is one of their weakest things? I hope your kidding. 2.2 goals against average with a .935 save percentage. And if you say that they also have no defense those are some great stats to have with no defense playing in front of you. Also I heard at the St. Michael game Cambridge was...

Cambridge will get destroyed by Duluth East. C/I barely beat a horrible St. Michael (class A) team last week (4-2 en). Chumley's fun to watch, maybe they can at least score a goal? Cambridge's defense & goalie is the weak link, look for a Duluth East win by more than 5, running time in this one.

Don't know much about Champlin Park, but if they tied North Metro, they can't be very good. I'll go with Rogers by a 4-0 score, especially if Champlin just upset MG, they'll have a letdown. Rogers will likely surprise Blaine also, look for a possible upset in that game.

Buffalo 3-1 :P
If you go by that logic, Cambridge should be the Champ...last time I checked the champ is the one that gets the most points in all the conference games. Congrats to Rogers, they earned the M8 title this year.

Monticello is in a co-op for the hockey program with Annandale and Maple Lake High Schools. By virtue of the combined programs, they are a "AA" school for hockey.

I like CI in this game. They are at home on a Friday night & should have a good crowd. Second time around they tied Forest Lake after losing by a lot earlier in the year, same thing here.

Blue Jackets 3, Royals 2 in a close one.
