If DE gets their goalie back and he doesn't leave to play high school, than they have to be one of the favorites to win the whole thing!

Quick question
Does this thread concern the new regional set up too or is redistricting completely different? I don't want to read a thousand threads if it is not concerned with the regional set up.

if there is a seperate topic for the regional set up can someone forward it to me?

Thank you!

...

Change the ages.
My opinion, Minnesota should look at changing the ages of our youth to coincide with the rest of the country. That way our kids could go and compete with other top teams from around the country.

They other thing I think that does is helps with the age old question bantams or JV. It brings th...

Centennial Champs
I don't think there is any question that Centennial will beat Duluth East, I also don't think there is any question that Eden Praire will be Moorhead. I think the EP vs. Centennial game will be good, but Centennial will win by two goals. I also think the Edina vs. Centennial game will be as good a s...

I agree
I think Centennial will be state champs as well. I think the rematch of last years, and who knows probably next years championship game too will be awesome. I think Centennial will get it done this time though!

No Chance
DE doesn't have a chance against Centennial...Centennial is deeper, more skilled, harder working, and with out a doubt more physical. You are right about one thing, Centennials Power Play will eat them alive. The fact is DE is to small and weak to play in their own end, Centennial will beat them up ...

I would assume that Young will play in the quarters vs. Owatonna and Callahan would play the next two? Does that sound right?

So beat'em
I would just think Duluth East, (being a "superpower" and all) would just say "hey lets show them" and beat the team from 2 and 10. Moorhead will have to play them too, you don't see them on here whinning about it. They have been every bit as good as Duluth East has been, if not ...

Should the host seed even be avalible?
I know it is the option of the association to take the host seed when hosting a Region or State tournament, but really does anyone think the spot should just be taken?

My opinion is if you don't earn your way in, you shouldn't be allowed to go! It's not the money
You see bigcurve, its not the money that is the problem, it is the ego's. I don't disagree with you on crazy parnets, but the volunteer coaches have to put up with them as well. The problem, and I've seen it in D6 more than any other district, is these guys have such ego's that they don't feel they ...

Centennial Will Win Bantam A State Tournament
With all the talk about Edina winning the tourney and new comers to the top rankings this year in Orono and Maple Grove, Centennial has been awefully quiet this year for a team that has dominated all year long. You never see posts on here from their players, and no one ever talks about them.

...

Edina's best players on Bantam team

ep
Why on earth should EP feel fortunate to have Smith? Has that program done anything under him? I think the coup that was spoken of this spring in EP was headed by not only the dad's but I think Smith had something to do with it too (my speculation not a fact or anything I can confirm, my opinion). bant. vs. hs
Here's what I think. If a player is moving up to play a regular shift on the varsity team, not powerplay or penalty kill, but a regular shift, than make the move. If you know your season is going to be spent entirely on the JV team than it is no question you should stay back.

I have previous...

hs vs. bant
I don't have so much of a problem with kids who are moving up to play varsity hockey. However, I don't agree with moving up to play JV hockey. I think the best players of that age group as a whole are playing Bantams. JV hockey does not offer the top to bottom talent that a Bantam a team does.
<...
