Although Centennial wont be as good as they have been remember that they still have 5 Elite I players and this group of kids got 2nd to EP in Bantam State And last years team won state as Bantam's, yet didn't even make it out of sections. It's a new ballgame when High School hockey starts and priva...

i agree, MG definitely had their chance. Both goalies let up some weak goals. When the score was 4-3 i was suprised the centennial fans were still doing the "Sieve" chant. I watched both 5AA games tonight and goaltending was the obvious difference between the two matchups. Hats off to the...

Re: Down the stretch

Did you know that Cents goalie is playing with a injury suffered before the Blaine game I do believe. What's the injury? It can't be that bad if he hasn't missed a game. I'm not saying he's not a great goalie and he's played in some huge Youth Hockey games. The difference is now he's playing agains...

I have watched this team play more than a dozen times this year. I wouldn't say this team has great things happen with Pitlick. They beat Maple Grove without him away and lost with him at home. They beat Elk River without him and lost with him. They beat Andover without him and tied them with him. ...

This game will be closer than expected due to the fact that Brett Larsen is hurt and is getting opinions from doctors on if he can even play the rest of the season!

Best: Section 206 at the X Worst: Blaine student section has been awful this year. They don't even stand during the games and hardly cheer for goals or big hits. This is true, in the Centennial game the Centennial fans were just dishing out the blows toward Blaine and there only chant the whole gam...

I'm not too sure on what your logic is there. I assume you are referring to the two goals that Centennial had disallowed in the late minute. If you want those counted then you have to allow Bjugstad's second goal. Bjustad's goal was definitely a goal. It hit the back bar, bounced out, then the net ...

Sorry 4-2 Bengals. Blaine has Centennial's number. While Centennial coaches are very solid, this is the one team each year that the current Blaine coaching staff really pulls out all of the stops to prepare for and never disappoints. I'm not sure how long the CURRENT coaching staff has been at Blai...

this very situation happened in the Blaine Centennial game. 2 Centennial goals were waved off because the ref claimed the net came off before the puck made it in.

One huge problem here, Centennial and Edina both lost this week to teams that i would say are about equal in strength yet you drop Centennial way down and Edina stays basically where they are?? Every week you are starting to seem less and less credible to me. Sorry but thats just the way i see it. P...

Per Pointstreak, and taking some liberties (i.e. the top 3 highest scoring forwards from their respective team), 100 point lines so far this season: 1. 159 - St. Francis (Benik 88, Belisle 55 , Lebeaux 17) 2. 139 - Little Falls (Hano 70, Hirsch 37, Nelson 32) 3. 133 - Holy Angels (Mattson 51, Reill...
