Yes, Benny add him to the roster and I completely forgot about Johnny Austin. I have heard a few people say his game has blossomed on the blue line. You are right Dubbs, I got lost in the thread with the Spehar and Mr. hockey. I enjoyed all 9 pages. So now what do you think, I like the Hornets chanc...

West Rink controller is also in the TC/PB area. At the start of the season the controller was not connected because I did the clk and couldn't set the hour clk. I believe the controller is there and was there for the BB1 game mentioned earlier. We had a BB1 game at BIG where the hour clk wasn't set ...

Fred, My point about the clock not working was that you don't know why the clock wasn't on. I'm pretty sure the clock is in working order. I figured you were talking about the BB1 game. As for that game, the timekeeper didn't know he had to set the clock. Even though Valley was pressing an effort wa...

Jancze5 - I could not agree with you more. A lot of times, kids on the 3rd line are not getting shorted because of effort and they are not SLACKERS 3G. They are getting shorted by the coach for the sake of shorting the bench. If it means win and play more or go home that's one thing, but otherwise r...

Bring back checking in squirts like it used to be. The kids are generally smaller and the speed is slower. There is less disparity due to puberty with 4/5 graders vs. 6/7 graders. Why or when it was changed I don't know. When I was a kid it was checking from the start. We didn't have mites, it was s...

I don't care so much that STA is in D6 hosted by PL. I just pointed out the fact that the two are intertwined financially. I am more concerned about the process of the host agreement. Is this something that is voted on by all members of D6 or does the DD just approve the agreement. The D6, 8/08, mee...

I agree doglover except I don't think they have to be equal. If 16 -30 can compete that's good. If not then they shouldn't have 2 A teams. The association should be able to field their best team for a run at state at the levels that have state. Two balanced teams might both do great or they might bo...

No coachj I didn't assume it to be personal. As you probably figured, my kids skate for the EHA. I really don't think it's a matter of balls to have more than 1 A team. I think there is always more to the story than meets the eye. See my post about balancing the teams. All that D6 should be concerne...

10.6 Associations which have 2 or more teams at any given level shall attempt to evenly balance the player skill levels between those teams. Upon application by an Association, the District 6 Director may, in his sole discretion, grant an exception to this policy where it is believed that all involv...

Elloit, Thaks for clairifying the Fire organization for me. I thought they were an umbrella for MN kids to play Tier I hockey. What I can't figure out is why these WI kids had so many practices at MM on school nights during the season? Back and forth to Hudson must be 45 minutes each way without tra...

DMom What's the point of your post? 1. I overloaded my son so don't do as I did and a thousand other parents have done as well. 2. Not only is my son a 2 sport phenom but an A student as well. We're happy for ya. On a previous post you were quick to point out that kids that do not make their associa...

I like the 17 minute mandate for all Bantam games A,B,C levels sate wide. The rinks and associations will adjust. The first post in the redistricting sticky thread is over 2 years old. You won't please everyone involved so make some hard decisions and in 3 -5 years see what worked and what did not w...

I just think it is enevitable that's all. Wasn't there a thread about Bernie joining MN hockey? If he does, don't you think he will have some sort of personal agenda. On another thread I read Watchdog, a supporter of community hockey, saying what a fine organization the Fire was. Maybe that was tong...
